Holidays are boring.

They get worse when you're down with sorethroat and blocked nose.

Like me.

AYE.

Rain's 4th album is a good album. Aaahh. (:

There are many things I cannot tolerate, and one of them is this:

To think this came from the NLB.

When I was primary 5 I was retarded because I LOVED typing like that. Now that I'm J1 I realise the folly I lived in.

To say the least, if the organisation wants to cultivate good reading culture they shouldn't put up the advertisement like that should they?

It defeats the purpose because I do not think that TyPiNg LiKe THiS a FoRm Of CrEaTiViTy.

Goodness took me a while to get that out. :/

The worst is still the 'z' that came after 'work'.

Please spare me.

I hope these sort of rubbish will cease to exist cause it's a freaking eyesore.

The more I look at it the irksome it becomes.

Apart from that, this one construction really amazes me.

My family is a very kaypo bunch of people. Since we live a good field away from the MRT construction site, we bought a pair of binoculars.

It's so good you can even look at the people walking on the road and scrutinise what they're wearing. We can even see Pioneer Mall which is like a 10 minute walk away.

They laid this beam in the middle of the night and I missed my witnessing chance!

See?

The morning before they laid it.

And the next morning, it's there!

I'm sorry if this doesn't fascinate you but it works for me. (:

All the materials, manpower and effort just for one beam.

Amazing.

1. I got my period when I was 9.
This is true. I'm sure you don't want me to elaborate and tell you more. Although some of you do know. Oh man, I didn't dare move an inch! :(

2. I was 1st in K2 for academic performance.
This is true but I don't know how I did it. All I remember is receiving a present that has some HUGE ladybug toy with it. Hmmmmmmm.

3. I have a fish tank at home.
This is false. I can't stand being around with animals. Hamsters, fishes and eh, birds included. How can I tolerate a fish tank at home?!

4. I think Britney Spears is disgusting.
This is true. She's so predictable and when she got married to that idiot of a Kevin or whatever his name is, I knew they were going to separate in due time. So so so predictable. :/

5. I love to read.
This is true.

6. I have 2 pillows, 2 bolsters and 2 soft toys on my bed.
This is false. I have 3 pillows, no bolsters, and 1 soft toy on my bed.

7. I love Micky Yoo Chun's voice.
This is true. Very, very, very true. Dong Bang Shin Ki. Aaaaaah. (:

8. I shifted 6 times.
This is true. I've repeated this like, countless of times to people and everyone ends up saying, "Isabelle, you're crazy." Yes, I know, but it's not crazy to move 6 times. (:

9. King Lear is a book that I'd really like to get acquainted with.
This is false. Oh man who would like King Lear? Just the 1st ten pages and I'm all ready to give up.

10. Dong Wan's my favourite Shinhwa member.
This is true. TRUE TRUE TRUE!!!

11. I can't live without my handphone.
This is false. I can live without my handphone.

12. I like reading TIME.
This is true. The magazine does offer me with many things to learn.

13. Korea's my favourite country.
This is true. Duh.

14. I can't play musical instruments for nuts.
This is true. Really, really, really true. I suck with the recorder, I can only look on with awe when people play the piano in front of me, and maybe the only thing I can play is eh, the triangle?

15. I have my own laptop.
This is true.

16. Lizards interest me sometimes.
This is true. I just wonder how they manage to squeeze into the holes in the walls and how they get such a weird looking body and such a puke-inducing colour. I remember lying on my bed and observing a lizard make its way across my bedroom ceiling. It didn't respond to me when I asked it questions, of course. Hah.

17. I prefer Brian to Fany in Fly To The Sky.
This is true. I prefer Brian's voice and he's entertaining, dang.

18. Raspberry Ripple's my favourite ice-cream flavour.
This is true. (:

19. I have never consulted a teacher out of my own will before.
This is true. I hate consultations.

20. My computer mouse is in a very good condition.
This is false. It looks pretty bad but without it, I'm pretty hopeless with my tablet.

Have a nice weekend and watch Green Rose!

Attention LECK SZE YUN.

Look here.

Very good.

See?

I'm doing it.

1) Think of 15 short bits of interesting stuff about yourself. And they've gotta be true.
2) Come up with 5 false statements regarding yourself, but for fun's sake keep them in the threshold of believability (I beg to differ).
3) Jumble them all up together and list them in any order.
4) Post them on your blog and let people guess which the five false ones are!
5) Get 5 others to do the same. (I'm a lazy person.)

1. I got my period when I was 9.
2. I was 1st in K2 for academic performance.
3. I have a fish tank at home.
4. I think Britney Spears is disgusting.
5. I love to read.
6. I have 2 pillows, 2 bolsters and 2 soft toys on my bed.
7. I love Micky Yoo Chun's voice.
8. I shifted 6 times.
9. King Lear is a book that I'd really like to get acquainted with.
10. Dong Wan's my favorite Shinhwa member.
11. I can't live without my handphone.
12. I like reading TIME.
13. Korea's my favourite country.
14. I can't play musical instruments for nuts.
15. I have my own laptop.
16. Lizards interest me sometimes.
17. I prefer Brian to Fany in Fly To The Sky.
18. Raspberry Ripple's my favourite ice-cream flavour.
19. I have never consulted a teacher out of my own will before.
20. My computer mouse is in a very good condition.

Gosh I feel retarded.

Happy guessing. :/

Monday, November 20, 2006.

The reason why I drew how Kayda's room looks like is because I wanted to say something about the wonders a mirror can achieve. (Albeit I drew it a little too small)

Eunice was having some difficulty watching the movie and I noticed something so I went, "You can watch from the mirror!"

And so she did.

For purpose's sake, Miss Kayda Soh made us both turn to the mirror and watch the movie from there so this picture resulted from it.

That's about it.

Have a nice day.

The first thing Renee and I saw when we got there was some banner calling out to the likes of wannabe beach hunks and beach babes in a Beach Hunk & Babe Contest of the year 2006!

...

吃饱没事做是不是。

一定是。

I don't understand why people would want to go to Sentosa for the fun of it.

The thing is in the way some people dress.

Hello. You don't wear heels and complain that they've been hurting since the moment you put them on.

You don't wear heels to Sentosa to take them off once you settle down in the bus and start complaining to your 姐妹s that your feet hurts hurts hurts.

Who's the stupid one?

You.

If it was painful once you put it on aren't you too much of an idiot to wear it when you know you're going to do a fair bit of walking since we're talking about Sentosa here?

I'd clap for you if you manage to walk on the sand for a full five minutes and not scrunch up your face nor cringe from the blistering pain.

Just one clap.

It's good enough right?

Yes it is.

Retarded.

Anyway our first aid duty consisted of us going to Sentosa by ourselves (Thanks to the man who thinks he's so great. Urgh. :X), sitting/standing/walking around talking to Stella & Tommy, walking to the Hotel toilet and enjoying the momentary bliss from the hot sun and going out of Sentosa by ourselves.

Gosh that man talks too much and is far too nosy and I can't write his big name here cause he has so many close connections around it's scary. But he's just downright annoying when he shouldn't be the least bit involved. Ch.

Stella's skin is getting thicker and it's because we talk almost every Wednesday. She's learning from us and learning fast. Good!

As usual Tommy the very enthusiastic and loud one cheered in our proximity and caused us both to be left with no choice but to shut our ears momentarily.

Seriously, primary school kids nowadays have all the attitude there is in this world.

They are flirty, bimbotic, rich, over-dressed, arrogant, quick-tempered save for some really cute and enthusiastic ones.

There was this girl flirting with one of the facilitators and her hair-band need not be on her head but it's placed there so she could hold her fringe and allow it to fall and cover 1/5 of her face very gracefully. How very smart.

There was this really enthusiastic boy in a yellow shirt and white specs and he was the only one that everyone praised. ONLY ONE. (This is the title of a Shinhwa song too!)

Then there was this scrawny boy with the air of an AH BENG. The way he walks, his shirt, the way he presents himself. Sad or what. You're only primary 6 you know?

And according to sources he fought? Or almost picked up a fight.

Who do you want to fight? Or do you think by fighting you can get people to notice you? I think it will only lead to people detesting you because you have a lousy temper you cannot control at the mere age of 12.

Yah, so you're done with PSLE and you're feeling like the shark of your primary school? When you get the secondary school they'd have you feeling like a pathetic piece of algae.

I suggest you redeem your attitude before it has the chance and potential to turn worse.

Bratty aye.

Sad.

Wednesday, November 15, 2006.

I'm going to Sentosa on friday.
(But at least I have Ah Nae and the Mao Ce CEO.)

One of my least favourite places in Singapore because it exploits (where's the price discrimination?!) money like mad but it's better having somewhere to go and something to do and people to talk to than staying at home and doing Maths like this morning.

Got so demoralized by Complex Numbers I did my Differentiation Tutorial for 3/4 hours instead.

My brain is slow when it comes to maths so I have 3/4 hours you see.

Nevertheless, I completed it save the last 2 questions and some others which I have absolutely no heart to go on to think and think and complete.

My father called and I was telling him I was doing Maths and he was like, "Woah, what a good girl!"

Thank you (:

Guilt will consciously creep into my heart and mind if I do not touch it and since I haven't touched homework for like 6 days, it already seeped into my nerves.

Therefore I didn't have the nerve to defy the sinking feeling of guilt.

And, Tutorial 11 is complete! I feel 5% accomplished. (:

I was bored last night so I did more editing and I realised that with nice fonts you can do loads. Hoho.

HAHA. Funny. I like!

Poor Marco, always victimised.

Haha. I take immense pride in doing such stuff.

If you ever want me to help contribute to your photos in any way, you are welcome to ask for help. That is if you don't mind what comes out of my head and finger tips. :D

I was searching for Jo-Hsuan's address and I realised I didn't have it, and came across this letter instead.

The letter we exchanged during farewell, 14th October 2005.

I think the one I wrote her was 3-4 pages long? You can't blame me cause one of the things I LOVE to do it to WRITE!

Yes!

She amuses me.

Then, at 22nd ( --> 历史性的一刻) March, we became partners! That's when I really got to know you.

We're forever bickering about 22 and 23 because her birthday's 22/5 and mine's 23/2. Hence, the natural number war between 22 and 23. :D I always feel utterly triumphant when I see something that is 23 instead of 22, likewise for her if it's 22 instead of 23.

First, I must get used to your handwriting ((:). It took me weeks to "learn" how to read. Second, I must get used to your 厚度 (I'm super thick-skinned you see.). And third, I must get used to your laughter because sometimes you can't stop laughing, sometimes you even cry [Shocked].

Haha yes. My handwriting is deemed eternally illegible to some people and if people borrow my notes, after a while they'd go, "Eh Isabelle, what word is this?" and sometimes I'd go, "Eh. Wait. Ohhhh. It's so-and-so." I admit it gets illegible sometimes. I'm less thick-skinned now cause it's much much much easier to be thick-skinned with people in an all-girls and more comfortable environment. Have I ever mentioned how thick-skinned Raseena gets sometimes? She does it to entertain herself. So do I, actually. This is what I call successful self-amusement. Something I do very very very vey vey vey often. Ah yes and I laugh a lot too. I can laugh till I roll on the floor and tear my skirt (Urh I have evidence!) or till I run to the toilet and continue laughing even after I'm out for a while. Seriously, laughing till tearing isn't that bad. It's pretty common for someone like me. (:

There was once when Sheryl, Ge Yi, Renee and I stayed back for log-drying duty and GOSH. We laughed till Sheryl said my eyes were like taps. My laughter-induced tears, like how water gushes down from the taps, gushes down from my eyes. You know when people laugh too hard they hold their stomach and no sound escapes from their lips? Yes. That time the 4 of us were in that utterly suaku state for more than 2 times. If you imagine it it's quite retarded cause you're holding your stomach with your mouth open wide, eyes closed and your body is being jerked involuntarily from the incessant laughter. Retarded sight to behold so yes, I do admit I am a huge retard at times. When you think no one is laughing you're wrong cause everyone is laughing too hard at the moment no one is able to produce any laughing sound due to energy wasted in maintaining that retarded position instead of it being released as sound energy.

Okay back to the topic.

Today is our farewell day. But I know that this wouldn't be our last time meeting each other cos our friendship is everlasting! For the past 207 days, you have tolerated my laziness, cold jokes (She's super good at this!), not replying sms, being whiny and stupid stuffs. Isabelle, 你真得很利害。

I love the 2nd sentence! And why 207 days? She told me at the beginning of the letter that "it's been 6 months and 24 days (207) days since we first became partners."

It's really a very simple and short letter but this is one letter that invokes many many memories in me everytime I read it. (:

I remember the longest sms she sent me was one that amounted to 4/5 messages. And on my birthday this year, she sent me a message early in the wee hours of the morning and then late at night, effectively wishing me twice at the beginning and ending respectively.

I love my partner! (:

Alright.

Do your homework everybody! One done is one less!

Can you see what the picture says? If you can't, you can click on it to enlarge it.

I think everything is pretty much okay except for the 'T' which is out of proportion. Sorry, broad shoulders. :(

It basically says CRESCENT with my hands and legs and eh yah, me.

:D

You know my favourite thing to do ; to take economic neo-prints?

Yes, we did it again! (This reminds me of Britney Spears who is such a predictable lady.)

We ran away from the Anti-shop Theft Seminar half-way because it was too overbearing and too atmosphere-less, we went to Lot 1 and yes, you've guessed it, smart you.

Our (actually, my) destination: Neo-print shop!

All images courtesy of Raseena/Marco/Rosie (MWAHAHA)'s camera (:

Sorry if this looks lame well cause, I'm quite a lame person you can't expect really normal stuff to come out from what I do most of the time.

It's good, to break free of norms. :D

I'm quite proud of this cause I like the fonts!

And Metal if you're reading this I would like you thank you endlessly for opening my eyes to PRINT SCREEN cause without it, none of these would be possible. Thanks a lot my chemically significant other! (:

Basically saturday was a good day cause I was much looking forward to it having dreaded the days when I was stuck at home with much to do but much reluctance to complete them.

The Econs Case Study is so LONG and DIFFICULT that I fell asleep after reading it for the second time.

Saw a few Crescent people at CCK MRT and it was a family reunion. We talked so loud and were so noisy!

But it's all good, it's a good feeling. (:

Off to Veeevo tomorrow, have a great week ahead everyone. (:

Friday, November 10, 2006.

Coincidentally, if my memory doesn't fail me (no at this age it shouldn't), Crescent's quarterly magazine's called Crescent Chronicles?

I just felt like reliving my Crescent days after reading Eunice's and Kayda's blogs, cause they made me laugh quite madly remembering those stupid things we did and said.

By the way, I'm sorry if you are not some avid green lover but I am, hence the entire blogskin and cbox colour code. I was getting sick of black. And, one day, when I feel like doing so, I'd change the ??? in the blog layout to Crescent. (:

Sidenote: Renee asked me to add this: sdsm= self-destruction, self mutation.

PHRAWHAHA.

Okay back to the topic on Crescent.

I regret not being armed with a camera in school!

There are really quite many fun moments to recall.

It's so unlike in where I am at now when we have to use our handphones under our desk and have to stuff sweets and what-nots under our desks and sneak them into our very willing mouths.

Now, in JC.

WAH. Even if you message and eat in front of teachers, they won't even look at you. Instead, they go, "I want to eat too!"

Thinking back, I really missed sitting with Eunice and Jo-Hsuan. When I sat with Eunice we were always well, either taking sweets from Maxie and Yi Ling or eating our own or turning back to talk to Raseena and Huey Huey or talking amongst ourselves and laughing at stupid things.

That Eunice complains a lot...?

And when I sat with Jo-Hsuan I'd laugh everyday.

Honestly before I sat with her my spoken chinese was quite limited. Once I started sitting with her, I learnt a lot of 有的没有的。

That's what Taiwanese people say a lot.

You know me, I love laughing over stupid and retarded things and I don't know what's so wrong with us cause one word can set us laughing like crazy.

Argh I miss my partners!

It's good to have a permanent sitting partner cause there'd be times which you can always remember and reminisce about.

Unlike now. :(

J1 life has come to a standstill. I think this year passed faster than last year. I don't even think I learnt and accomplished anything this year and then zoom, I'm off to the next.

It's so stupid when you want to say things out openly and you are unable to. Even though I still do, it's much much much more mild now.

I used to announce to the whole world (alright my classmates) that my menses period came and everyone would be "Me too! Mine's coming soon! Sad!" and some would even "Isabelleeee, I have my periodddddd. Ahhhhh."

Whenever mine comes, Si Ying's would, Yin Xi's would. Weird. We are all February babies and we get our periods together.

Periods. Periods. Periods!

Annoying times of the month!

I feel good after typing that. :D

Back to the topic, I think I miss Silent Reading sessions.

Please, look at me now, I don't even READ. This is bad because I was a straight bookworm since I was 6.

I've read almost all I could of Enid Blyton.

Peter and Jane series (I'm always amused by their freedom), Five Find Outers, The Naughtiest Girl series, Malory Towers and all the kiddy pixies and elfs and dancing teddies and teapots.

In primary 4-5 I read The Babysitters' Club, Sweet Valley, Animal Ark, Replica and all that.

Then in sec 1-4 I read romance, thriller, suspense yada yada.

Now when I go to the library I don't even manage to finish ONE book. I don't think I've ever completed ONE book this year, maybe except Shall We Tell The President and City of Bones.

Great fantabulous books!

What do I end up reading now?

Fictionpress works and Soompi/Shinhwa Changjo fanfics.

Not that they aren't good but it's very different.

I was a HUGE bookworm before and I visited the library EVERYWEEK.

Isabelle the bookworm please come back. :(

I'm a K-pop music addict now instead. How time changes people. Aye.

Okay sidetracked too much.

CRESCENT!

Basically, if you have a sister who's P6, and when she asks you, "Which secondary school should I go to?"

Just tell her, "CRESCENT!"

It doesn't matter if she doesn't have to confidence to get in. I didn't either.

Just put it as the FIRST CHOICE and you'd see very very happy people. (:

Oh yes my beloved partner's going to burn WONTAK'S ANGEL for me!

It's sad cause Singapore doesn't air this movie and the chances of finding it at any CD shop is rare.

YAY!

Some Shinhwa fever can be ignited into my boring holidays! Whoopdedo!

Pardon me cause I'm usually not so pathetically childish but yes, I've been waiting to catch Mr. Lee Min Woo and HaHa on the big screen!

The thing is the big screen now shall be replaced by my big computer screen.

I spent my afternoon watching the Dong Bang boys and now I'm hopelessly hooked. I used to think Micky looked like some monkey but really, he's very charismatic when he sings.

WOO!

Alright I know I'm pathetic but before I finish this off I'm going to show you something.

It's too bad if you don't want to see cause I'm going to put it here anyway. (Yes I know I use this foolishly empty threat very often)

Cute right?

Raseena/Marco/Rosie (Hoho) drew it for me in the conversation window.

The art of print screen. Ahhh.

{ }

Wednesday, November 08, 2006.

I think I should never try things out of my allocated norm.

Why?

The very first time I ponned school I got a scolding by Mr. So-called the next day. One that lasted for nearly an hour in the freezing air-conditioned room.

The very first time I went to school with just a file and purse it rained.

Rained.
Rained.
Rained!

Sad or what.

Thus I think I should stick to my allocated norm and try not to try things which are out of my box.

Gosh holidays are boring.

I have truckloads of homework.

Well maybe not but it's quite a bit to want to finish.

1) G.P homework
2) Econs Tutorial 9 Case Study 1
3) Econs Tutorial 9 Case Study 2 (Took me 2 hours!)
4) Econs Tutorial 9 Essay Question 2 outline
5) Maths Tutorial 10B
6) Maths Assignment 10B
7) Maths Tutorial 11 (Took me 3 hours!)
8) Maths Assignment 11 (Yes yes finally!)
9) Maths November Holiday Assigment (which means we have a December one too?)
10) Read Duchess of Malfi and all the other lit texts. (Bleargh. Literature is the subject I did the worst in.)

Gah.

Ennui ennui ennui go away from me.

{ }

I feel like a hypocrite to myself everytime I type, well maybe not everytime, but 90% of the time.

Expressing my mock enthusiasm with words.

The thing is, I'm really quite relieved that PW is over and done with I have no idea how I should express that because well, the entire PW journey had its annoying as well as fun times.

Thinking back and looking at my surroundings, I realise that my group isn't that bad after all. I'm pretty proud of us actually, even Keith, who so disgustingly and eeeww-ingly disguised his ear stud with an out-of-place plaster.

You have NO IDEA how much I laughed over it.

Just imagine your ear lobe covered with a huge plaster which isn't even plastered on correctly.

Funny is the understatement.

Anyway one of the groups in my group of groups (right not confusing) presented a video.

My goodness I laughed rather badly and it's very very hard to keep it in.

Especially the part when Ernest said the station announcement in 4 different languages as well as the Doors Closing di di di di di thing. Haha. Innovative.

Got my promotional examination results, not impressive but the moderation did help quite a fair bit.

Isabelle you gotta work harder for next year, aigoo.

Aigoo is a very funny korean expression.

Like a mother telling her child he/she shouldn't be doing this/that, they'd go, "Aigoo. Yah! Anni!"

Sorry my korean sucks so I apologise if you get not what I mean and I am too ashamed to tell you my original intention.

Oops.

I felt a sense of familiarity come over me when my friend me online that her monthly visitor just came and since she's having her OP presentation tomorrow, she's annoyed cause it will be very very annoying.

Oh man that was what I used to hear ALL THE TIME, but not anymore.

Quite sad, but it's inevitable that you have to adjust and learn to be more so-called courteous in speech now that you're in a different place at a different time.

Speaking of so-called stuff, Mr. So-called's signature is EEEEEHHH. The moment you look at it you'd feel weird. I don't know if he has something against me cause he signed it with the retarded face where you have the two dots as the eyes and then one long line under it.

Must be feeling so-called not good on that so-called day.

So very so-called.

So sad.

Alright bye. There's much of TV for me to watch later. Hoho. (:

If you see some alien language here, change your encoding to unicode.

I love you
女:我爱你你是我的罗密欧
(男:罗密欧)
我愿意变成你的祝英台
合:幸福的每一天
浪漫的每一夜
美丽的爱情祝福着未来

This is a pretty song. 曹格's a musical genius. Just in case you're unaware of who 卓文萱 is, she's a singer who's been in the industry for 5 years and is making a comeback with her second album after many many changes.

I like this song! I like the way it mixes the western and eastern Romeo & Juliet :D

Anyway, tomorrow's the chinese paper so a bit of chinese will help.

Ha, yeah right.

But anyhow, I love this song. (:

Holidays are boring.

It's really quite boring when you stay at home and have only 5.00pm to look forward to. I watch 百分百 whenever I can.

It makes me laugh. I like shows which induce my laughter.

X Man too. But the thing is that it's not easily available. But X Man's not too good cause I laugh till I cramp my jaw everytime I watch it.

You laugh so hard that your jaw can't even move and your laughter is just stuck inside waiting to come out collectively cause it's just so so so funny. I always have to pat my jaws after watching X Man. Gosh I love the programme.

Only when there's Shinhwa, Dong Bang Shin Ki, Fly To The Sky & Kim Jong Min though.

Park Myung Soo, MC Yoo, Kang Ho Dong, Haha and Miss Shin too.

OH MY.

Just thinking about Park Myung Soo's face is enough to make me want to laugh.

Micky Myung Soo my foot la.

Gosh.

Okay I know I'm talking to myself cause only people like Renee, Vania, Xiu Ling, Li Xin and Irene would know what I'm talking about.

Yes self-amusement is good you know. Keeps you occupied when you want to come out of an awkward situation. Talking to yourself is good too, even though you might receive some weird looks from people (like I do sometimes), but it's good.

Okay whatever I just typed won't really make much sense to you.

Mr. Goh says I have to make my presentation more dynamic.

Reminds me of mass movement.

No. Associations as such are too far-fetched.

Aaaah whatever I'm off to well, do something which I should not confess out in black and white here. (:
